The hybrid school association will be providing in-person instruction, but will not be providing the curriculum. The parents will need to make a few curriculum purchases themselves.

The new school model being offered through our church will be providing an in-person Math Class for Kindergarteners. It will meet several times a week and be taught by (to be determined). This class will be using the same curriculum that LCA has been using - ABeka's Numbers and Skills K5. Assignments will be given for at-home work. Questions from at-home work will be answered on the next hybrid school day.
The association will be offering an in-person Science and Health Class for kindergarteners taught by (to be determined). This class will be using the same curriculum that LCA has been using - ABeka's God's World K5. Assignments may be given for at-home work. For the best result for their student, parents are encouraged to have their student finish the assignment before the next hybrid school day.
The association will be offering an in-person Phonics, Reading and Handwriting instruction taught by (to be determined). This class will be using the same curriculum that LCA has been using - ABeka. Assignments may be given for at-home work. For the best result for their student, parents are encouraged to have their student complete any assignment before the next hybrid school day.
PA does not have a specific requirement for this. You may fulfill this requirement by gathering together with other families at the church gymnasium after hybrid school or through the church-sponsored soccer and basketball programs. This class is not required for kindergarten but may be completed at the parent's discretion.

PA does not have a specific requirement for this. Parents may organize field trips on Fridays to art museums, child appropriate theater shows/ballets, etc to fulfill this requirement. This can be supplemented by at home arts and crafts time, youtube drawing and painting videos, painting pottery as an activity, etc. This class is not required for kindergarten but may be completed at the parent's discretion.
Parents should verify that their students receive safety instruction including fire safetyand the dangers of drugs/smoking (these topics are state required). Much of this is covered in the Abeka Science and Health materials.
