Parents should expect that teachers providing core classes would generally teach classes and assess student learning.  This would include:

• Providing in-class instruction (not primarily streaming)

• Adapt teaching to student responses to assure learning

• Prepare lesson plans and provide them to parents

If parents choose to collaborate with teachers on non-core classes/electives, parents should expect to participate more in those classes than in core classes.  They would generally expect the teacher to provide:

• Lesson plans

• 1x per week instruction (either online or in person)

• Either testing and grades or facilitation of parents grading tests

In these types of classes, students could learn through in-person instruction, through streaming, or through independent study.  Parents would generally oversee students outside of class and communicate with teachers regarding tests.
