Parents should expect that teachers providing core classes would generally teach classes and assess student learning. This would include:
Providing in-class instruction (not primarily streaming)
Adapt teaching to student responses to assure learning
Prepare lesson plans and provide them to parents
If parents choose to collaborate with teachers on non-core classes/electives, parents should expect to participate more in those classes than in core classes. They would generally expect the teacher to provide:
Lesson plans
1x per week instruction (either online or in person)
Either testing and grades or facilitation of parents grading tests
In these types of classes, students could learn through in-person instruction, through streaming, or through independent study. Parents would generally oversee students outside of class and communicate with teachers regarding tests.
