Daily schedules will be constructed by the teachers and the association and will be posted on this site for parents. Elementary school schedules will be approximate and will leave the teacher with a great deal of flexibility.
The association will collaborate with parents and non-parent teachers to assign teaching roles in such a way to meet the needs of the students.
Parents will acquire the materials and curriculum needed for the classes their children will be attending. The association will provide the information needed for parents to procure the curriculum.
Please see the "what do I need to do over the summer page" for additional information.
Parents will collaborate with teachers to make sure their children complete the out-of-school work necessary for their student to keep up with the in-person lectures provided by the association. Typical daily schedules could look somewhat like this for elementary school and this for junior and senior high school.
At the end of the year, by June 30, parents will need to locate an evaluator and contact them to review their binder and sign off. Evaluators can be found by county here. Each evaluator will look for different things and will want different pieces of material. It is a good policy to contact your evaluator in advance so you can adjust your portfolio accordingly.
