You may be asking: What is a Hybrid School?
A hybrid home school is an educational strategy where the children are legally home-schooled but where families can still benefit from in-person instruction in a school setting. https://www.commonwealthfoundation.org/commentary/2020/07/15/what-is-hybrid-homeschooling/ For our purposes, a hybrid school is a group or association of home school families that work together to pool resources to provide a balanced education for their students while providing a portion of the education in a school building and a portion of the education outside the building at parent's discretion. Because of our membership in the church, we have an advantage over many hybrid homeschool families in our ability to use shared resources (building, WIFI, shared volunteers) to more effectively accomplish the common goal of educating our students.
In conjunction with our association, this site is designed to provide the information that you need in order to understand how the hybrid school model will work, what classes your child will be taking, what a typical school day will look like, and what you need to do to prepare.
